Job description

Salary: $30 - $35 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Responsibilities

1. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
3. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare team members and documents nursing diagnoses.
4. Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
5. Performs interventions according to priorities, plan of care, hospital policies, and outcome standards.
6. Revises the plan of care based on evaluations and medical changes.
7. Uses clinical judgment to meet patient care needs, establish priorities, and evaluate activities.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Current RN license for the state of practice.
2. Current health certificate (per facility or state regulation).
3. Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
4. Current BLS certification.
5. One year of RN experience preferred.
