Job description

Pay Range: $35-$40

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with an adult patient in their home. The patient has a G-tube, Trach, and Vent, and requires care on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Fridays from 7 am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services for clients receiving contracted care.
• Initiate the plan of care as directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to physicians or supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor and document effectiveness.
• Review care plans and protocols, identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
