Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to home testing customers for PT/INR products. This role covers Petersburg, WV and Williamson, WV with travel from the trainer's home location.

The position requires an active RN license and clinical experience; direct anticoagulation/homecare exposure is preferred. Training is per-diem and state/city specific, with base pay in a broad hourly range.

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience and be a Registered Nurse.
• Direct experience with anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training is a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely schedule training appointments with customers or caregivers.
• Travel to customers' homes within general geographic location.
• Demonstrate and instruct use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Present yourself professionally to customers.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email and internet.
• Use secure encrypted email for PHI communications.
• Have reliable transportation.
