Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing is required.
- RN license active in VA is required.
- BLS certification within 90 days is required.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience is required.
- Home Health experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and supervises all nursing care for participants according to program standards.
- Interacts with other facility staff.
- Acts in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Conducts initial and periodic assessments.
- Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent or disabled participants.
- Advises participants on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Administers medication if needed.
