Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of Florida is seeking an RN for home health visits in Ocala and surrounding areas. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful patient care in home settings.

The RN will perform skilled visits, complete OASIS, and develop individualized care plans while coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure patient safety and progress.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license is required.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Home health experience preferred.
• OASIS experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing visits in patient homes
• Complete OASIS assessments and documentation
• Develop and manage individualized care plans
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and safety
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition
