Corewell Health West Visiting Nurses is seeking experienced RN/LPN nurses and new grads for home care in the West-Central Michigan area, serving Big Rapids and Evart. The role features autonomous practice with 5–7 patient visits per shift in patients' homes.

Under the Nursing Manager, you will assess and monitor patients, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to prevent complications and optimize outcomes.

Qualificações

• Associates in Nursing Required.
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• MI Driver's License Required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.

• Under direct supervision of the Nursing Manager, uses clinical judgment to assess and implement the treatment plan for patients.
• Assess, monitor, plan, and take action to prevent physiological complications from health problems or medical treatment.

About the unit

Our Visiting Nurses Association is our Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for West-Central areas of Michigan. We are accepting applications from experienced RN's, LPN's, and New Grads! For experienced RN's this is an autonomous position that drives you to use all of your top nursing skills and critical thinking. Working in home health enables you to treat the patient in the comfort of their home, where patients are able to thrive and own their own health care. We create personalized assignments close to home that enable our nurses to visit between 5-7 patients per shift. From Ludington, to Baldwin, to Nunica and south through Kent County, Ottawa County and as far south as Gun Lake, our Corewell Health West, Visiting Nurses Team goes the distance to provide outstanding patient care

Scope of work

Under the direct supervision of the Nursing Manager, and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to access and implement the treatment plan for patients. The RN assesses monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.
