Job description

This position will service the Byron Center and Dorr areas of home care.

About the unit

Our Visiting Nurses Association is our Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for West-Central Michigan. We are accepting applications from experienced RN's, LPN's, and New Grads! For experienced RN's, this is an autonomous position that allows you to utilize your nursing skills and critical thinking. Working in home health enables you to treat patients in the comfort of their homes, promoting thriving and health ownership. We create personalized assignments close to home, enabling nurses to visit 5-7 patients per shift. Our coverage extends from Ludington, Baldwin, Nunica, through Kent County, Ottawa County, and as far south as Gun Lake, providing outstanding patient care.

Scope of work

Under the supervision of the Nursing Manager and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse uses clinical judgment to assess and implement treatment plans. The RN monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate actions to prevent complications related to health problems and treatments.

  • Work hours: Full-time, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with variable weekends
