Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team in Columbus, OH. The night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week, with a focus on delivering expert cancer care in a collaborative setting.

Preferred BSN or equivalent and at least 2 years of hospital experience in hematology/oncology. Active Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS cards required. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in hematology/oncology.
• Current Compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to hematology and oncology patients with compassion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and treatments per safety protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to adverse reactions and emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and post-care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation per hospital standards.
