Job summary

JR Enterprise (JRE) seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – Health & Wellness Manager to lead the Health & Wellness Center serving Job Corps students in Manhattan, KS. You will oversee medical, dental, and mental health services, supervise staff, and ensure timely, safe healthcare delivery.

The role requires strong healthcare leadership with experience with adolescents and young adults. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, 40 hours weekly, on-site at 4620 Eureka Dr.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or equivalent nursing credential.
• At least 3 years of healthcare experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or healthcare management experience.
• Experience working with adolescents and young adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nurses, administrative personnel, and contracted medical, dental, and mental health professionals.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health & Wellness Center.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage departmental administrative and program activities.
• Manage staff scheduling, medical records, supplies, and operational needs.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate department staff.
• Oversee routine checkups, preventive care, emergency first aid, triage, immunizations, and chronic care management.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and program improvements.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets and control expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with DOL, HIPAA, and PRH standards.
• Coordinate comprehensive medical, dental, and mental health services for students.
• Coordinate with local hospitals, specialists, and other providers for referrals and emergency care.
• Coordinate outside vendors and subcontracted staff.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Compensation: $50/hour ($100,000 annually) on W-2

Position Overview

JR Enterprise (JRE) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – Health & Wellness Manager to oversee the Health & Wellness Center serving Job Corps students.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – Health & Wellness Manager will provide leadership and oversight for the center's medical, dental, and mental health programs. This position is responsible for managing daily healthcare operations, supervising staff, coordinating services, and ensuring students receive safe, timely, and appropriate healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare leadership and management experience, with experience working with adolescents and young adults preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nurses, administrative personnel, and contracted medical, dental, and mental health professionals.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health & Wellness Center.

• Coordinate with local hospitals, specialists, community agencies, and other healthcare providers for referrals and emergency care.
• Coordinate outside vendors, subcontracted staff, and healthcare services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities within the Health & Wellness program.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or applicable degree/credential in nursing, public health, health administration, or a related healthcare field.
• At least 3 years of healthcare experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or healthcare management experience.
• Experience working with adolescents and young adults.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively supervise multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and manage daily health center operations.
