Responsibilities & Requirements
  • The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide care in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
  • Accountable for professional development and practice within legal scope.
  • Acts as a patient advocate, ensuring safe care, delegation, and participation in improvement activities.
  • Reflects the organization’s mission, vision, values, and philosophies in nursing care.
Qualifications
  • Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE); new graduates preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years).
  • Returning nurses after 5+ years may need to provide a refresher course certificate.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS, NRP, PALS as per unit scope of practice.
