Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing assessment and care in an ambulatory setting.

Overview

Registered Nurse will possess specialized knowledge and skills to provide care to patients in an ambulatory setting. Will provide clinical nursing assessment, act as patient care advocate, and provide support, counseling, and education to patients. Will be responsible for patient case management and/or perform specialized procedures.

Works in collaboration with other healthcare providers and ancillary services. Directs clinical staff and maintains mandatory regulatory institutional policy and procedures under the direction of Manager/Medical Director. May be required to float to other ACU clinic as needed for staffing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience or 2 years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience as a RN.
• Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Initiative, multitasking ability, and readiness to take on responsibilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills and teamwork.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required, or to be obtained at first opportunity with employment.
• Employee will operate vehicles for assigned business purposes as a non-frequent driver.
