The RN collaborates with providers to implement care plans using established nursing models and advocates for patients and families throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and relevant state certification within specified timeframes.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within stated timelines.
• TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and crisis intervention certifications within required periods.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
