Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• All entry-level RN start dates on or after April 1, 2020 require evidence of BSN within five years.
• RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 requires BSN as stipulated at time of hire.
• One year of RN or Mayo Clinic‑related LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork; computer skills; EMR experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours; leadership and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and education.
• Support professional nursing practice across settings and the care continuum.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles, formal and informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, acuity, resources and costs.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.
• Sponsorship may be available for TN; F1 status may apply to OPT participants; STEM OPT restrictions apply.
• Sponsorship will require state nursing licensure and relevant certification.
