Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken in Aiken, SC is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate patient care on the medical-surgical unit. Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will apply the nursing process, teach patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

Active RN license in the state (or compact), BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and ACLS for Charge Nurses; inpatient med-surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit; plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
