Mercy Behavioral Health Services in Festus, MO is seeking a Behavioral Health RN - PRN. This role provides patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to support individuals with psychiatric and substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure where duties are performed.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and substance use disorder. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.

Qualifications

Education

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
