Overview:

Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Registered Nurse position? You can choose to work day or night shifts—whatever suits you best! There are no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and flexibility for last-minute shift cancellations. The program does not guarantee shift hours and shifts may be canceled.

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients, based on theoretical concepts and standards of nursing practice.

The RN-GIG will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities across various departments including:

Critical Care, Telemetry, Med/Surg, Women’s Health, L&D, Behavioral Health, ER

Departments Utilizing GIG RNs:

• Behavioral Health (BH)
• Critical Care (Stepdown, ICU)
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Medical-Surgical (MS)
• Telemetry (Tele)
• Women’s Health (L&D, M&B)

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
