Scripps Health is seeking a Per Diem RN for a Casual Status position in the GI Lab at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. The role involves 10-hour day shifts with training expected for the first two weeks and a minimum availability of one shift per week.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The role emphasizes direct patient care, high-acuity procedures, and collaborative teamwork to ensure exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Provide direct patient care to high-acuity patients in the GI Lab within scope of practice.

This is a Casual Status also known as Per Diem RN position working 10-hr day shifts. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm. Located in La Jolla at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in the GI Lab. Training will ideally be full time for the first 2 weeks. The minimum availability for this role is 1 time per week.

What you'll do:

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
• Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
