Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the GI Lab. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, develop and evaluate plans, and educate patients and families.

This role requires a CA RN license, ACLS certification, and Conscious Sedation module completion within 1 year. Previous GI Lab and med/surg experience are preferred. Day shifts available at PIH Health Whittier.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license and ACLS certification required.
• Conscious Sedation module completed within 1 year of hire.
• GI Lab experience preferred and 1 year med/surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Coordinates delivery of care provided by the care team and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Maintains flow of patient care and supports clinical workflow during the shift.
