Job summary

USA Health is recruiting an experienced registered nurse to support the GI/Cardiac Unit in Mobile, Alabama. The role requires a valid Alabama RN license and involves patient-centered care, supervision of staff, and coordination with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Alabama RN license or current Multi-State RN License in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the GI/Cardiac Unit according to policies and Nurse Practice Act.
• Supervise, plan, evaluate and coordinate patient care with licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Administer medications, including controlled substances, and manage IVs and blood products.
• Document care and maintain electronic medical records; ensure charge and charges for procedures are accurate.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and emergency patient situations; participate in performance improvement activities.
