Job summary

Franciscan Ministries seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct medical and nursing care at The Village at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst, IL. You will supervise CNAs, administer medications, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies.

The role includes leadership within the unit and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has an active RN license and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably

Qualifications

Education: A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Licenses/Certifications: Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
Experience: 1+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Direct the daily activities of CNAs and resident care staff.
Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV administration, and medication observation.
Transcribe orders and ensure accurate documentation in medical records.
Develop, review, and update individual care plans for residents.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet residents' holistic needs.
Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers and quality improvement activities.
