Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care in a geriatric setting in McFarland, Wisconsin. You will follow physician orders, supervise nursing staff, and assist physicians during rounds while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, CPR certification, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants assuring work is completed appropriately and timely.
• Dependable, flexible, cooperative with all nursing personnel and patients.
• Ability to make decisions regarding nursing problems with patient safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care following physician orders and facility policies.
• Administers medications as ordered.
• Leads, guides, and supervises nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assists physicians with rounds and patient examinations.
• Drapes and cares for patients during rounds and treatments.
• Performs shift treatments and documents appropriately.
• Maintains infection control and universal precautions.
• Assists with records, orders, and assessments of new admissions.
• Assists with scheduling annual physicals for patients.
