Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Health Center team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise care by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants, and ensure adherence to care plans.

The position offers a bi-weekly rotation, day and night shifts, competitive hourly pay ($33.00-$37.80) plus comprehensive benefits and tuition reimbursement. Join our community focused on West Texas values and exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Current Texas LVN license or eligibility.
• Current CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
• Minimum one year experience as charge nurse in a geriatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes, reports, and charts potentially serious clinical manifestations and administers and documents treatment.
• Administers medications and documents per procedures.
• Informs physician or supervisor of changes in resident condition.
• Ensures each resident’s Care Plan is followed and meets state requirements.
• Directs qualified staff to implement the medical plan of care.
• Performs walking rounds and conducts assessments and chart reviews.
• Completes shift task sheets, monthly summaries, and quarterly assessments.
• Takes On-Call as scheduled.
