Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W.

The role requires 24 hours per week with a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift, and involves delivering patient care under supervision while coordinating with other departments. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure), and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision of licensed practitioners.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and preserves patient rights and confidentiality.
