Job summary

Mercy is seeking Registered Nurses for the Med Surg/General Surgery 3W inpatient unit. This full-time night shift role (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a General Surgery floor involves direct patient care on a surgical unit, not the OR. New grads and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply, with welcome sign-on incentives.

Location: Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. Education must be an approved nursing program with Missouri RN licensure; BLS is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability and confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments; ensures continuity of care.
