Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking experienced and new graduate Registered Nurses for the General Surgery 3W unit.

This part-time night shift role (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) involves inpatient care on a General Surgery Med-Surgical unit, not the OR, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Qualifications include Missouri RN licensure (or compact), BLS certification, and a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care and confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and ensures patient rights.
