Under general supervision, the RN promotes professional nursing practice, analyzes patient data to develop individualized plans, and collaborates with the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes. Licensure in NC or a Compact state and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Required: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure proper care.
• Analyzes patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, including medication administration and treatments.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and adjusts care as needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
