Position Summary:
This role involves direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients each shift. It includes supervising staff to whom care is delegated. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management related to patient care.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal and communication skills and serve as a role model and advocate for nursing.
Qualifications:
Education:
Required: Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
Certifications:
Required: Current license, certification, or registration to practice as required by law; CPR certification.
