Memorial Hermann Southwest is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 6th floor General Medicine unit. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care using the nursing process, perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, and educate patients while maintaining medical records.

The 6th floor unit is a 54-bed telemetry-equipped team environment with leadership support and flexible scheduling options.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support.
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care using the nursing process.
• Provides professional nursing care including assessments, assisting with exams and treatment.
• Educates patients and maintains medical records.
• Supports a 54-bed General Medicine unit with telemetry monitoring.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing

Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills

• RN I < 1 year
• RN II = 1-3 years
• RN III = 3-10 years
• RN IV = 10+ years
