Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• PACU RN experience highly preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for individuals or families in Pre Op/PACU.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skills.
• Supervise, delegate, and evaluate LPN scope of practice.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
• Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
• Continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction and communicate compassionately.

About This Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre Op/PACU unit is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who are committed to providing high-quality care and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements
