Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Job Description

Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing practice, caring for residents in all phases of care, including preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinates care, assesses residents, provides education, and performs nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable care within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure if in an NLC state. Maintains required competencies and certifications.
