Cambridge Caregivers, LLC seeks compassionate PRN Registered Nurses to provide direct patient care in private duty/home health settings. You will administer medications, monitor health needs, and work autonomously in the field while coordinating with the Director of Nursing for safe, high-quality care.

Formación

• Current RN license in Texas or a compact license.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association).
• BLS Certification valid for healthcare professionals.
• Reliable transportation to cover field/home visits.
• Ability to work independently with clinical direction when needed.
• Compassionate, professional, patient-focused demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Monitor and record vital signs during visits.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor effects.
• Provide wound care, dressing changes, and healing tracking.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and home care strategies.
• Respond to patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing regarding patient changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans for patients.
• Ensure orders are followed and communicated to care staff.
• Assist with emergency response measures when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant care environment.
• Build trust with patients and families and mentor care staff.

Cambridge Caregivers is seeking compassionate and skilled PRN Registered Nurses to join our private duty/home health company nursing team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, working prn shifts. Administer medications, and monitor ongoing health needs in accordance with each patient’s individualized care plan. Our RNs work independently in the field while collaborating closely with our Director of Nursing to ensure safe, high-quality care.

This position is ideal for nurses who value autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful one-on-one patient care.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.)
• Administer medications as ordered
• Provide wound care, including dressing changes and monitoring healing
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and home care strategies
• Respond to patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing regarding changes in patient condition
• Perform ongoing patient data collection and maintain accurate documentation
• Develop, update, and follow individualized care plans
• Ensure all orders are followed, documented, and communicated appropriately
• Assist with emergency response measures when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Build trust and rapport with patients and families
• Deliver exceptional patient experience through responsiveness and care
• Serve as a resource and mentor to patient care staff
• Pursue ongoing professional development
• Support and uphold the mission, values, and philosophy of Cambridge Caregivers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of care

Registered Nurse Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Texas and/or compact license
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and follow clinical direction
• Compassionate, professional, and patient focused demeanor
