About Our Unit

The Moss-Magee Elkins Park Brain Injury Unit (BIC) is a 30-bed facility specializing in traumatic brain injury care, serving patients aged 14-90+.

• Promote an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, encouraging team learning and respect.
• Foster a culture of continual learning and open communication.
• Encourage nurse involvement in committees, organizations, and events.
• Practice shared governance to ensure nurses' voices are heard.

Schedule & Commitment

Schedules are planned 6 weeks in advance. Requirements include:

• 12-hour shifts
• Every third weekend
• One holiday per season
