Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd, part of Advocate Health, is launching an 11-bed High Acuity Progressive Care Unit in early 2026. RNs will provide and coordinate care in a fast-paced, clinically challenging environment with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, collaborating to set standards of excellence from day one.

Completion of nursing program, RN license, and BLS certification are required, with emphasis on autonomy, collaboration, and ongoing growth in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
