Are you a Registered Nurse who also has a business mindset? Are you feeling burned out? In this Registered Nurse role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise as well as your interpersonal and customer service skills. Responsibilities include actively building strong relationships with current and new customers along with partnering with internal team to grow Assisting Hands home care market share. You will partner with various departments to initiate high-quality care for the clients.
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Grow Assisting Hands home care business by recognizing opportunities to expand relationships with referral sources and partner with the medical and long-term care community and speak at networking events.
- Conduct initial intakes and ongoing assessments and patient/caregiver education on our services. (This will require driving from client to client. Company car is provided. We have clients in Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough and very few in Highlands County.)
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills to interact and form relationships with clients, their family, key partners, and referral sources.
- Be flexible to respond to situations on the weekends, including completing Assessments and Care Plans to start Care for Clients.
- Work in a rapidly changing environment requiring multi-tasking, critical thinking and creative problem solving.
- Use excellent organizational tools requiring technical skills.
- Enjoy working in a unique and rewarding setting that allows you to use not only your exceptional clinical background but also your relationship building skills.
- Participate in the development of annual strategic plans and related innovative programs.
- Assist in the identification and development of volume growth plans as well as the implementing of identified initiatives.
- Conduct medical chart audits, overseeing the clinical record for each client to whom services are provided.
- Initiate the plan of care, revise as necessary, and monitor the appropriateness of services for the client.
- Supervise and train CNA and HHA providing care, completing related documentation.
- Plan for the discharge of clients from service and update hospital hold status.
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys over the phone for quality assurance.
- Must be willing to obtain a CCM (Case Management Certification) Certificate that is company paid.
- Advocate for clients and coordinate ancillary services and healthcare needs that would aid them to improve and maintain their quality of life.

Required Qualifications:
Nursing Experiences:
- Must be Bilingual (FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH)
- Must be willing to travel. This position requires driving from client to client.
- Registered Nurse with current license in state of Florida.
- Minimum one-year clinical (RN) nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Background Screening (Level II) clearance.
- Screened for TB and pass a physical.
- Preferred: Associates or B.S. degree in nursing (Open to Entry Level).

$35.00 - $38.00 per hour.
