Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join itsFlower Hospital Department of Surgery team. The RN will coordinate care with patients and families, assess nursing needs, and plan, implement and evaluate care to improve outcomes.

Collaboration with nurses and staff is essential for achieving patient care goals. Current Ohio RN license and CPR certification are required; 24 hours of continuing education are needed during licensure, with at least 1 hour on the Ohio nurse

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training; specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica's world-class patient care team. As the coordinator of a patient's plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.
