Job summary

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Sun City Center, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Nursing Float Pool. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high quality care in a high acuity environment.

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for critically ill patients, instruct patients and families, maintain records, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active in good standing.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• Degree in nursing (RN) with relevant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Nursing Float Pool team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a high acuity environment. What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

What qualifications you will need:

• • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
