Piedmont Walton Hospital's Float Pool is seeking a compassionate staff nurse to care for adult patients across inpatient units, including Medical Surgical and ICU, with opportunities to assist the emergency department.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence through critical thinking, prioritization, teamwork, and hourly rounding; candidates must be an RN licensed in Georgia, with BCLS and appropriate certifications, and no experience required for new graduates.

Competenze

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing; required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required; NLC/eNCL multistate licensure.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable

Our inpatient division consists of Medical Surgical and ICU with the opportunity to assist the emergency department. Our nurses are at the forefront of advanced care, managing complex needs. Intensive Care has a 2:1 ratio and Medical Surgical has a 6:1 ratio. Our team emphasizes clinical excellence through critical thinking, prioritization, and teamwork. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Education

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Required and
