Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse will work within organizational policies and coordinate care with assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNLC), BLS, and hospital experience; new graduates may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current GA RN license or multistate license (NLC/eNLC).
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN: one year of hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; specialty certification optional.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
