Baylor Scott & White Health in Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care within a professional practice model. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safety, quality, and privacy in all nursing activities while adhering to the Texas Nursing Practice Act.

Qualificações

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or have two years of relevant work experience.
• The main area of study in your education should be nursing.
• Min of 2.5 years of Acute Care Hospital Experience
• You must be a registered nurse
• Basic life support (BLS) certification or get it within 30 days of starting.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and prioritize needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans and adjust as needed.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding of care.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Maintain professionalism and adherence to nursing ethics and privacy.
