Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced RN to join the Nursing Resources Float Pool Team in Kirkland, WA. The position requires at least two years of Progressive Care or Intensive Care nursing experience and an active WA RN license.

The nurse provides direct patient care, advocates for patients, and collaborates with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Relocation assistance is available and additional pay is offered for BSN/MSN credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) required.
• Minimum of two years of current Progressive Care or ICU experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by start date.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates the patient and family education process.
• Implements and evaluates patient care with input from patient and family.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Communicates relevant information to supervisor and physician in a timely manner.
• Documents changes in patient condition and notifies charge nurse/supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
