Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced RN to join the Nursing Resources Float Pool Team in Kirkland, WA. Requires at least 2 years of Progressive Care or ICU experience and WA RN licensure. Compensation includes a wage range with bonuses for new hires and relocation support.

The role focuses on direct patient care, patient advocacy, and coordination of education for patients and families, within established standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN required)
• Minimum of two years of current Progressive Care or Intensive Care experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by start date
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS certification by start date

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates the patient and family education process.
• Implements and evaluates patient care, involving patient and family in the process.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plan of care.
• Communicates all relevant information to supervisor and physician in a timely manner.
• Documents changes in patient condition to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

Wa ge Range: $48.21- $87.11per hour.

Bonus available for those new to EvergreenHealth: up to $3,000 with 3+ years of current Emergency Department & one other specialty nursing experience; up to $5,000 with 5+ years of current Emergency Department & one other specialty nursing experience.

Relocation assistance available. Bonus also prorated by FTE.

Job Summary

Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Primary Duties

1. Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.

2. Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.

3. Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.

4. Continuously implements, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.

5.Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.

6.Effectively communicates all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in a timely way.

7.Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.

8.Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience

REQUIRED for the position:

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
• Minimum of two years of current Progressive Care or Intensive Care experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by start date.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS certification by start date.
