Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an RN - Float Pool in Canonsburg, PA to deliver direct nursing care across multiple settings, adjusting care plans as needed and coordinating with the broader care team.

This full-time role requires PA RN licensure or multi-state eNLC, CPR certification, and compliance with background checks; you will educate patients and contribute to student and staff development.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care.
• Initiate, monitor, and revise interdisciplinary plans of care based on assessments and physician orders.
• Complete patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide ongoing teaching to patients and families to guide them across the continuum of care.
• Support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues, and may serve as a preceptor.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
