LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Virginia is seeking an experienced Central Resource Pool Registered Nurse to ensure delivery of exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and maintain high standards of nursing practice.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment, documentation accuracy, and effective communication with patients and families to support an optimal plan of care.

Qualifications

• RN license and current state licensure required.
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN/BSN acceptable).
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care with nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and safeguard confidentiality.
• Report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Provide comfort and reassess pain, showing attentive presence.
• Document clearly and timely per policy.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and team for an up-to-date plan.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Central Resource Pool Registered Nurse for our hospital to ensure that we deliver exceptional care to our patients. • You will be accountable for essential clinical knowledge that will positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care.
• You will display your strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company polices including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital).
• In collaboration with your healthcare team, you will report critical information or change in condition of patients.
• You will provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness that would include pain assessment and reassessment.
• You will document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy.
• In order to provide a great patient experience, you will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 3 years of RN experience is required
