Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ASN or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in state
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS Certification within six months where required
• BSN degree preferred
• 1 year RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
