Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan seeks a dedicated RN for the Float - Labor & Delivery, Special Care Nursery, and Postpartum units. The role requires professional nursing practice, compassion, and focus on outcomes, using the nursing process and Benner's domains.

Schedule is full-time, 7am–7:30pm, Monday through Friday with every 3rd weekend. Competitive benefits include a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $2 weekend differential, within a supportive academic health system.

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or transfer date required.
Certified BLS provider credentialed by the American Heart Association obtained within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required, or Certified Instructor.
2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Education: graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

Provides a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients.
Uses the nursing process within the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains.
Demonstrates clinical competence, compassion, customer service orientation, and cost-consciousness.
