Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide safe therapeutic nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation
• Identify educational and discharge needs of patients
• Identify changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
• Provide patient care as primary caregiver or by delegating as team leader
• Collaborate with physician; review orders; report abnormal lab values
• Collaborate with patients and family to establish a care plan including psychosocial needs
