Qualifications

• ADN required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse: CA RN License.
• Basic Life Support - CPR BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide safe therapeutic care for patients: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
• Uses the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients.
• Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
• Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
• Works collaboratively with physician. Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings.
• Works collaboratively with patients and family to establish a plan of care, including psychosocial needs assessment.
