Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate care for patients. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support patients and families, including assessments, plan of care, medication administration, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

• You willdemonstrateknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.

• You will promote customer service initiatives.

• You are given the opportunity toutilizenursingprocess for individual care to meetneedsof patients.

• In thisroleyou willdemonstrateyour ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
