Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee seeks a Float Medical-Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to provide coordinated patient care and support across teams. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary staff to deliver compassionate care and timely interventions.

The role requires at least 1 year of med/surg experience, an accredited nursing degree, and current Tennessee nursing licensure with BLS. A commitment to ongoing certification and professional growth is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to support patients and families.
• Perform assessments and reassessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and document plans of care.
• Demonstrate nursing process and technical skills to meet patient needs.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

• You will be performing patient roundingin an effort tomaximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.

• You willdemonstrateknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.

• You will promote customer service initiatives.

• You are given the opportunity toutilizenursingprocess for individual care to meetneedsof patients.

• In thisroleyou willdemonstrateyour ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience
