Job summary

Lady Lake Specialty Care in Florida is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am shifts. The facility offers a caring, modern environment with strong support and numerous employee benefits.

Requirements include an active Florida RN license and CPR certification; one year of nursing experience is preferred. Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork are essential to provide high-quality resident care and participate in ongoing training and quality

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations.
• Communicate resident condition and progress to charge nurses, supervisors and Director of Nursing.
• Maintain clean, orderly treatment cart and restock supplies.
• Follow Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and per policies.
• Document pressure sore status weekly or as condition changes.
• Monitor inventory of medications, supplies and equipment; ensure skin care products are on hand.
• Educate residents and families on skin care when discharge to home; participate in Quality Improvement activities.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
